Newsletter Noro Wa Hina

The dought conditions experienced in most part of the country (worst in 30 years), are a result of a natural phenomeon ( el niño) together with climate change. The last summmer rainy season had below normal rainfall and increased maximum temperatures and heatwaves. The water shortage is set to hit hard also on the african wildlife. Parks like Kruger National Park can do only little to help the animals, very cruel but it is the reality. We also see our animals in Marloth Park suffering, so if you are visiting Noro Wa Hina Lodge in the (near) future, please consider putting out food ( shops in the Park sells pecial game food) during this time to boost the energy levels of the animals.

Thank you!

We are happy that Laurika and her husband Louis have taken over the management. They are living in Marloth Park and have long lodge management experience. Welcome to our team Laurika & Louis!

We have installed a safe for those guests who wish to store their valuables.

There is now a tv with dvd at your disposal, for watching films and listening to music exclusively. A selection of films is available and also for the younger guests there are some nice films so parents will have a moment for themselves.
